Kate provided for our every need, a welcome respite fro me!! Breakfast was amazing!!! Pillows and bed were heaven and earth. The a/c control in room was exactly what we needed after hot/humid summer tours. Waking up to do some schoolwork from the beautifully landscaped patio was a special treat. loved all of the nods to local culture and the respect for our particular interests and needs. Will absolutely recommend to friends and family, as well as returning if I'm ever back in the area!

My son & I had the most beautiful stay at the farmhouse. From our warm welcome, tour of our space, history lessons, and my pal, KIWI, it was rejuvenating & just what we needed. Our hospitable hosts made us feel comfortable & right at home. Before leaving, I was able to have the most lovely connection before getting on the road back to SC. I can't wait until the next time. Jan and Kate were delightful hosts -- warm and welcoming! They made us feel right at home. We loved the common breakfast and interesting conversation with the other guests. Staying with Jan and Kate was a wonderful experience. I asked for a room late in the same day I needed it and they responded almost immediately. The house is so charming and has a great history. They were engaging but respectful of my privacy. House was clean and comfortable! Highly recommend this place!! Breakfast was fresh and just what I asked for!!!

Fox Creek Farm Inn Bed and Breakfast was extremely pleasant! Kate was very responsive and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The location of the bed and breakfast is nestled back in a lovely neighborhood, making it very private and quiet. They were very welcoming and friendly as soon as we arrived. I especially enjoyed breakfast, it was very personable! We look forward to staying again in the future! ☺️

Jan and Kate are wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful! They have done such a great job with the restoration of their farmhouse. It looks just like the pictures. They helped us find a lovely restaurant for dinner and spent time telling us about some good antique spots. They served a complete and delicious breakfast. We were treated like old friends and would love to return for a visit in the near future. Thank you Jan and Kate for such a nice weekend and a special thanks to "Kiwi" (their Golden Retriever) for welcoming us.

My wife and I stayed a second time at Fox Creek while returning from Philadelphia, and again had a wonderful experience. We love the location close to Kennett Square and Longwood Gardens, and both Kate and Jan are so welcoming. This time we stayed in the Longwood Room, and we're very happy with our choice. Perfect firmness for the bed, great A/C and ceiling fan kept us comfy, and the private bath was lovely, with a huge tub and open shower. Fox Creek is our new standard for whenever we're in the area.

What a completely charming B&B and lovely hosts! I had a wonderful and peaceful time, and it was the perfect home base for a Longwood Gardens adventure. Kate made great recommendations for places to have dinner and was very welcoming. The breakfasts that Jan and Kate made were delicious and it was a very sweet and family-like experience. I stayed in the DuPont room which was perfect for me. The house is full of interesting bits of history and the library was impressive too. I will certainly be back!

Kate and Jan are very friendly and helpful hosts. Fox Creek Farm is in a great location for area attractions, but is still quiet and removed from traffic and noise. The home has an interesting history and nice little touches. I would stay here again.

It was an absolute delight to stay in Jan's (husband) and Kate's (wife) B&B My wife and I made a booking at the last minute, and our only regret was that we could not stay longer. This is an older home that has been extensively renovated. expect squeaky timber floor boards :) The following words are a true representation of the B&B Very clean and tidy, old world stylish, exceptional breakfast, lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds, great common areas, and wonderful genuine hosts I can not recommend highly enough!

This property is a labor of love. Jan and Kate have lovingly restored this house and are very welcoming hosts. We were both under the weather during our one-night stay, but the room was comfortable and Kate was very sweet about accommodating us, sending up coffee and a light breakfast and later providing breakfast after the advertised serving window. Be sure to get the tour and a look at the well in the kitchen! Two practical notes: Despite the description, the very nice bathroom for the Winterthur room is NOT attached and requires a quick duck in and out of a public hallway. Also, this is an old house and there is little noise insulation between this room and the dining room where breakfast is served. Neither were dealbreakers for us, but they are good to be aware of.

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Longwood Gardens! Jan and Kate have done a great job restoring a historic farmhouse - it's a labor of love and it shows. Lots of great spaces to pull up a chair with a mug of coffee, including both an outdoor porch, indoor sitting room with a fireplace, and a large library. The included breakfast was fantastic. I look forward to returning.

All I can say is wow!! Our gracious hosts made us feel like family during our stay! The room was beautiful, really cool antique furniture… the bathroom was giant with a gorgeous tub, I took a relaxing bath with the bath salts it was glorious. The next morning my husband and I were greeted with a delicious homemade breakfast and they did not disappoint! Fresh fruit, blueberry French toast casserole, omelette, hash browns… I don’t remember ever having such a breakfast! We stayed a bit and had a chat with Jan and his lovely wife and we are ever so grateful for them to open their home to us! We had a wonderful NYE/anniversary Airbnb experience… can’t rave enough about these kind people. Beautiful neighborhood. Beautiful home. Beautiful people. Highly recommend!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Kate was so welcoming when we arrived and got us settled in right away. And both Jan and Kate were extremely open and able to talk to, and offered up their expertise on the area and there help if needed. We stayed in the Brandywine room, which includes an ensuite gas fireplace, as well as a heater/AC unit for year round, and we were quite comfortable. The bed itself was a nice huge king size, and the linens were fresh...with two options for either soft or firm pillows. Quite happy with our selection. The stay included breakfast as well, and for the New Year's weekend of our visit, they offered a delicious Blueberry French Toast Casserole, as well as custom omelets and other options. My wife stuck with the casserole, which she was very happy with. I went with a veggie omelet with hash browns, which were both delicious...plus snuck a little of the casserole as well. Definitely our go-to choice from now on when visiting the area!
